NCIC Probes Deputy President Gachagua Over Controversial ‘2007 Christmas Party’ Remarks

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has launched an investigation into Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s recent comments referencing a ‘2007 Christmas party,’ which have sparked public concern.

In a statement, the commission emphasized its commitment to addressing rhetoric that could incite division or undermine national unity.

The NCIC urged all public figures to exercise responsibility in their speech, particularly on sensitive historical and political matters.

“The Commission is taking firm action to uphold cohesion and ensure that public discourse remains respectful and unifying,” the NCIC said.
