Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has once again demonstrated his philanthropic spirit after an emotional encounter with a woman from Machakos who survived a horrific hyena attack.

“Life has not been easy,” the woman told reporters. “I can’t pay rent and sometimes go without food.”

“We have already fixed an appointment for her to be seen by a team of eye specialists on Tuesday,” Sonko confirmed in a social media post. “We will do everything possible to restore her dignity.”
