On January 1st, the 36-year-old singer and entrepreneur shared a special moment with her 150 million Instagram followers.
In a video taken during her New Year’s Eve celebration, Rihanna proudly revealed that she had abstained from drinking throughout 2024.
Holding up her phone to capture the iconic ball drop in New York City’s Times Square, she shared her accomplishment, saying, “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year. I didn’t drink all year.”
The video captured Rihanna in a relaxed setting, dressed casually in a gray robe, enjoying a low-key celebration with friends. The group helped count down to 2025, with many holding drinks in hand as Rihanna marked the moment with a smile.
She spent the evening in New York City with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, and their two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1.
Rihanna captioned the post with a playful nod to the new year, writing, “New Year, New Me.”
In another Instagram clip, Rihanna had fun with her friends while cleaning a hair extension with her Fenty Hair shampoo. Playfully scolding one of her pals, she joked, “You owe me a new bottle!
