“Apple Music Radio is the beating heart of our service, representing the intersection of exceptional human voices and curation with cutting-edge technology that shapes and influences culture.”
Zane Lowe, Global Creative Director of Apple Music, added, “In a world of AI and algorithms, Apple Music Radio is live. It’s real people, it’s a shared event, and I’m so excited to be broadening that experience to listeners worldwide with three new stations.”
Here’s a closer look at the new stations and what they bring to listeners:
1. Apple Música Uno
This station celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Latin music, focusing on genres like Música Mexicana, reggaeton, tropical, and Latin pop.
Superstar Becky G serves as the station’s launch host, along with special shows by artists like Rauw Alejandro and Grupo Frontera.
“I feel incredibly honored to have my own Apple Music radio show,” Becky G shared.
“Growing up, I used to watch and listen to music programs that inspired me so much… Now, years later, I can’t believe I get to have my own show and hopefully inspire others in the same way.”
Daily programming will feature Evelyn Sicairos and Lechero, bringing authentic energy and knowledge to the station’s lineup.
2.Apple Music Club
Focused on dance and electronic music, this station is a haven for fans of club culture.
Whether spotlighting festival anthems or underground mixes, Apple Music Club offers around-the-clock programming.
Hosts Tim Sweeney and NAINA guide listeners with curated DJ sets from the world’s leading artists, ensuring that every mix tells a story.
The station bridges the gap between the global festival circuit and intimate dance floors, providing a dynamic and ever-evolving listening experience.
3. Apple Music Chill
For those seeking relaxation, Apple Music Chill is a curated escape into calmness.
This station blends chill highlights across genres with interspersed moments of mindfulness.
To mark its launch, the station premiered Beck’s exclusive new recording of George Harrison’s “Be Here Now”, setting the tone for its tranquil programming.
This station offers listeners a chance to recharge, offering what Schusser describes as a “bespoke” experience designed to enhance mental well-being through music.
Accessibility and the Future of Apple Music Radio
The new stations are accessible across all Apple Music-compatible devices, including iPhones, Apple Watches, Macs, and even via Siri.
A revamped Radio tab makes it easier than ever to discover shows and interviews with artists from across the platform.
Over the years, Apple Music’s studios in major cities like Los Angeles, London, and Paris have become a go-to for artists to premiere new music and connect with fans.
These three new stations extend that legacy, offering listeners a fresh, curated way to experience music.
With Apple Música Uno, Apple Music Club, and Apple Music Chill, Apple Music reaffirms its commitment to live radio as a space for human connection, culture, and creativity in the global music landscape.
