During his time in Kenya in 2004, Sean Paul was deeply moved by his visit to the Maasai Mara, where he witnessed the simple, traditional lifestyle of the local communities.
This experience inspired him to reflect on social issues, influencing the creation of his song “As Time Goes On” from his 2005 album Trinity, which went platinum.
He mentioned that seeing the beauty of nature and the hardships faced by the less fortunate had a lasting impact on him.
