However, behind the glitz and glamour, Size 8 struggled with deep personal issues that eventually led her to a transformative path in her life—her faith in Christ.
“I had everything that people dream of—money, fame, and fans who adored me. But deep inside, I was empty,” she revealed.
“I was living for the world, chasing after things that could never satisfy my soul. It was a constant battle within myself.”
Size 8 explained how she indulged in activities that were far from the values she holds today.
The music industry, known for its demands on artists, often pushed her to compromise on her morals and make decisions that conflicted with her inner beliefs.
She was also surrounded by an environment that normalized excess—alcohol, parties, and the fleeting pleasures that came with fame.
“At the height of my secular career, I felt like I had lost my way,” she admitted.
“The people around me didn’t care about my spiritual well-being; they only cared about the hits I was making. I realized I was losing myself in the process.”
This realization marked the beginning of her transformation. Size 8’s turning point came after a series of personal challenges, including her mother’s illness and her own health struggles.
These events forced her to reevaluate her life and her priorities.
She began to seek a deeper connection with God, and in 2013, she made the decision to give her life to Christ, marking her transition from Size 8 to Size 8 Reborn.
Her new identity as a gospel artist reflects her spiritual rebirth. She is now an outspoken Christian who uses her platform to inspire others through her music, ministry, and personal testimonies.
Size 8 Reborn is known for her songs like “Mateke” and “Afadhali Yesu,” which echo her message of redemption and hope in Christ.
Looking back, Size 8 acknowledges that her past was a necessary part of her journey. “I don’t regret my time in the secular world because it shaped me.
But I’m grateful for the grace that found me and transformed my life,” she said.
Today, Size 8 Reborn continues to inspire many with her transparency and her testimony of how God changed her life. She remains committed to her faith and is a powerful advocate for living a Christ-centered life.
Through her music and ministry, she hopes to lead others who are lost, just as she once was, to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
