Sexual favours forced Corazon Kwamboka to quit practicing law

Corazon Kwamboka has revealed that sexual harassment was a key reason she stopped practicing law.

Kwamboka shared that in the workplaces she encountered, her bosses often demanded sexual favors. She explained that she could not compromise her dignity, as her achievements were the result of hard work.

Speaking with Oga Obinna in a recent interview, the mother of two disclosed that these inappropriate demands led her to quit the profession she had once been determined to pursue.

“Everywhere I worked, the boss wanted to sleep with me, and I wasn’t willing to do that. I earned my position through merit! I was always a top student throughout my life,” she said.

Kwamboka also singled out one particular boss who insisted on a sexual relationship in exchange for her defending a case. She remarked, “That’s an abuse of power, using your position to take advantage of someone.”
